FtB (Fade to Black) allows a player to accept the consequences of their IC actions without being forced to play out details that may be triggering or uncomfortable (or simply not fun). This is not a loophole around the ICC of ones actions. In the case of FtB, the events still take place, but rather than RP them out, details will be determined OOCly and RP moved forward.
